Critical and equity-focused pedagogies
Gender inclusive teaching practices:
We are able to offer professional development sessions which focus on supporting gender diversity and LGBTQ+ inclusion in K-12 schools. With a focus on school environment, curriculum, and pedagogy, we can offer school communities with theories, practices, and systems to put into place to ensure all students feel nurtured.
Racially Literate Teaching Practice:
Drawing on the work of Howard C. Stevenson, we offer professional development sessions for educators, school leaders, parents, and students focusing on developing racial literacy skills. Through engaging in supported discussions about race, racism, and bias, we aim for participants to be able to develop the skills to confidently and effectively address issues of racial equity and conflict in schools.
